9.19.11 ... a sweet cookbook bookmark and 200 sales celebration

i have had a good day filled with a number of small projects. i'll share this one and come on back for the others over the next few days. i had fun with this. it's been a while since i made one. if i had the chance, i would have no problem making these for a career. i love that they are simple, recycled and never the same thing twice. the possibilities are endless. we all need that.

my joonE etsy shop just reached 200 sales this past weekend. joonbeam is not far behind at 197. i hope to be placing that photo here soon. scout took this one for me:

i especially love that i have 222 items for sale here - scout was born at 2:22 and it is a special number to us. and that i am in 89 circles. 89 has been my favorite number since i was knee high to a number line. sweet dreams, everyone.

8.22.11 ... recycled whale stamp corner bookmark and ...

a simple little creative act for today. i made this corner bookmark as a package extra. i really could be happy making these every day. i love that the possibilities are endless, even when i start with a favorite stamp like this one. no two are ever the same.

i also had fun with another package, seen below. isn't it fun?

i hope the recipient breaks out in s smile when she sees it. how was your monday? mine was pretty darn good. and, guess what? dave and craig are back new tonight. woo hoo. it's always fun when they return from a two week vacation. much deserved, of course, but we miss them.

6.12.11 ... recycled envelope corner bookmarks

today scout and i made some corner bookmarks. i found this poem in a salvaged 1960s childcraft book. so i decided to make a set based on it.

because aren't these illustrations too cute?

i couldn't resist them.

but i had a hard time getting good photos so here's my best shot of seven, eight and nine, ten.
