today i made this little recycled coaster as a mother's day gift. the reverse (seen below) is cut from a favorite, but worn, cloth napkin we've used for years.
there's a quilted square inside as well as the quilting on the finished piece. the inside square consists of a hot pad piece covered on each side by an old flour sack towel piece.
