i did a lot of cooking earlier this morning. scout spied some rhubarb at the store the other day and, for unknown reasons, austin is not in the fresh rhubarb (or corn on the cob) market so we had to go for it. i made two small ones so we can give one to the new parents. this one is prettier so it is going to them.
and the other one, seen below, will be our dessert in just a little bit.
it's pretty cute, too, but i feel like it has more of a popeye face look to it.
